Wyze has provided us with some pretty good budget-friendly security cameras for our homes so far.
Today we’ll be looking at Wyze Cam Pan vs. Wyze Cam V2. While both cameras are very similar to each other, the main difference advantage of Wyze Cam Pan lies in its broader field of view along with its ability to span across 360 degrees in just 3 seconds. While Wyze Cam V2 is great for its small size, as it can be placed pretty much everywhere.
Of course, you also have additional features such as night vision, two-way audio, motion detection and more!

Live-view on Demand – See anyone at any time with the live-view on-demand feature. All you need is an iOS or Android smart device with a screen, and you can seamlessly view your home in vibrant 1080p HD. So whether you are traveling, or simply in a different room, you can always access the camera’s feed.
Two-way Audio – Same goes for communication too! You can easily talk with your loved ones or pets via your smart camera.
Motion Detection – Both Wyze Cam V2 and Wyze Cam Pan also have the motion detection technology, meaning that you’ll receive instant alerts whenever suspicious activity is detected. Power & Installation – When it comes to Wyze cameras set up, the process is quick and easy. All you need is the USB power cord and an AC adapter that’s plugged into an outlet. After connecting your camera wait for around 20 seconds until the status light flashes yellow, and lastly, download the Wyze app, after that you’re ready to go.
Cloud Storage – Both cameras have a whooping 14-day free cloud storage available. This is a great feature especially when you’re away on a holiday but still would like to record every motion that happens while you’re gone.
Smart Home Integration – Integrating your smart camera with voice assistants can be a great way to take advantage of other features such as voice control. Difference #3: Design – In terms of design, Wyze Cam Pan measures larger with its dimensions of 2.4” x 2.4” x 5”, compared to Wyze Cam’s 2.2” x 2” x 2”. The Cam Pan is also significantly heavier weighing at 0.5lbs. compared to Cam’s V2 0.2lbs.
