Technology – Here comes the best part. Newyes and Rocketbook provides an app for Android and iOS that basically takes a snap of the page you want, and sends it to cloud storage of choice! Not only that, but it also does heavy-duty processing to ensure that every ‘scan’ is readable, no matter the lighting condition or angle. It actually improves the image by making it even more crisp and vibrant.
You have the freedom to send the scan to any service of your choice, as long as they are supported of course, so that would be JPG or PDF format.
For Rocketbook Everlast you can do so by marking one of the seven icons at the end of each page, matching to a service you assign to the icon in the app.

Difference #1: Page Number & Material – Newyes smart notebook has a more traditional feel to its pages, as the paper resembles a slightly thicker version of regular notebook paper.
While Rocketbook Everlast’s pages have a more glossy, smooth finish that some may find off-putting. It also makes the drying time slightly longer, and especially if you’re left-handed, it could create some smearing.
In terms of the number of pages, Newyes pulls ahead with 40 vs. 36. The difference isn’t huge, and due to its reusability, it won’t affect the longevity of your smart notebook.

The main tool you’ll need for Newyes and Rocketbook notebook is pilot Frixion pens. These pens are easily erased. Thus allowing you limitless use of your notebook.

When it comes to Newyes vs. Rocketbook, it’s difficult to make the final decision, as both models offer great features that will further enhance your writing process.
For a more classic, and traditional feel and look, it’s worth looking into the letter-sized Newyes smart notebook. Its pages don’t have the glossy feel that some smart notebooks offer, and it still offers great erasability and reusability.
While Rocketbook Everlast offers unlimited reusability and a great choice of cover design options. Even if its pages have a more plastic feel to them, it still is a great addition for any writing purpose.
So in the end, you’re simply choosing between a more traditional notebook experience and one that has an unlimited amount of uses.
