Nest Thermostat Commands – Now you can even control your Nest thermostat using Alexa Nest commands. You can do things like, change the temperature or even know what is the current temperature at home. It’s good to keep in mind that if you own more than one thermostat, you should create a name for it in the app, just to make things a little easier.
This is also a great feature when you want to make sure that the house is nice and warm as you plan to get out of bed in the morning or adjust accordingly as you’re about to go to sleep. You’ll always get accurate readings by using these useful commands,

You also have the ability to set specific modes, like ‘’away’’ or ‘’home’’ mode, allowing your thermostats to regulate the temperature. So by saying,

It’s also important to note that, Alexa won’t be able to control your Nest thermostat if it’s set to an Eco Temperature, is using Emergency Heat or is in the Off mode.
